Bah!

Sun Jul 16, 2006, 3:52 AM
Freedom, freedom to do nothing and revel in the void of time. By that, I shall refer to exhibit A; 2 more weeks of watching anime, playing games, reading, habitually wearing PJ's and caring about the lack of cares in this world.

In other words, yes....I'm amazingly bored. For those who can recall my fanfic.net days, there are a few chapters under the works and to add insult to the injury that is the ludicrous world of Nosgoth, they are set in that insane realm.

A few more comics are being attempted and shall be up very soon. For you see, my alternate life as 'the psych student' (defender of all things supposedly sane), keeps moi very busy. Some would say, it is lazy, this is a lie- I just enjoy my sleep.

Damn it, ran out of caffeine AGAIN, oh the humanity!

Having just been tagged by ShebaKoby (yes, blame her for the next few sentences of utter nonsense), I shall unleash my six weird personal things:

1. If the concept of reincarnation is a possibility, my next life as an F-15 Eagle Jet- would be quite entertaining.

2. I view my White 18 year old Toyota through love goggles.

3. Depending on the time of day/ mood, my three deities of choice include Chris Latta, Terry Pratchett and all those involved in the creation of LOK.

4. Psychology student- need I say more?

5. Every time I watch Fullmetal Alchemist and that Roy Mustang character appears- I can just picture Hughes in the background singing- Mustang Sally.

6. God willing, one day a sentient laptop shall be created- so that we may wed, the dream still lives on ;)

-----------

In the Works:
Still constructing Blackhellcat's piece, I haven't forgotten.

Ebay
Found a copy of the original 1980's GI Joe cartoon- wow that takes me back. Great that it has finally been released as a DVD set. Cheap too- $20.

Reading
Witches Abroad- no Vetinari, yet those gals sure can be a fun bunch. Still waiting on a copy of Thud from the local library, the anticipation is slowly but surely chipping away my inner being.

Watched
Ice Age 2- Didn't really expect much and wow, the damn thing lived up to those expectations.

Life
More exams.

At the Movies

Sun Apr 2, 2006, 7:50 AM
V for Vendetta.......

Tall, dark and handsome syndrome- at least two of these apply to the portrayal of codename V, towards his drooling fan girl populous. In essence, who really cares what is beneath that mask, not I. After all- I adored the leper king in Kingdom of Heaven. The overall personification of the man as a righteous drama queen, really won the audience over. The film relied heavily on overtures echoing Nazi Germany- as do most oppressive fictitious movements in cinema these days. Now begins a long quest to track down the original comic, to see what Mr Frank Miller is bitching about. The entire piece was enjoyable- especially the baptism of fire sequence. Not to mention, it's always nice to see an anti-hero classy enough to sport knives and explosives as his main forms of devastation. Stephen Fry- man of British comedy was also a significant plus. Yes Kadath, there may be something to your theory.

Now to sleep, per chance to dream ;)

What Me Worry?

Fri Feb 17, 2006, 8:46 PM
Another couple of days and the anthropomorphic personification of boredom shall return to uni. Yes sir, I have been reading way too many Discworld novels, as of late. The past few weeks have consisted of playing Soul Reaver 2 over and over, just to see the boys in their Sarafan glory days/ Janos. Hmmm, on the upside Ebay has presented me with a fun shopping ground, though Australian sellers rarely have what one desires. However a few nice gems have included Daria's inferno (a PC game) and magnets from the same franchise.

On the arty side of life, I'm thinking about doing a few pieces based on LOK fics. Maybe some more crossover works, such as the Family Guy thing. There is one idea that fits in with another cartoon series I adore. As for the Transformers, if anyone is desperate to see some new pieces, just make a suggestion ;)

The Eternal Prison of Boredom

Sun Jan 15, 2006, 9:59 PM
Well, the past few weeks have been dedicated to the LOK series. Drawing, writing and joining clubs---------> these holidays have been pretty average. I've also created a fanfic account at [link] . Besides that I viewed the latest Harry Potter film- despite Voldemorts lack of hair he was well cast. Nice to see Lucius in the background---- not too bad even if the actor sounded as though he had the flu ;)
